The service and these terms
These terms apply to the Velisona applications and website, operated by Ihor Maiorov. By using Velisona, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Support: igor.v.maiorov@gmail.com.
Alpha access and eligibility
Velisona is an experimental, invitation-only alpha for people aged 18 or older. An invitation grants personal access and does not guarantee continued availability, store publication or a final release. Features, supported devices and limits may change. The current alpha is provided without a subscription fee; any future paid terms require a separate notice and agreement.
Your account
Provide accurate account information and keep control of your email, sign-in credentials, approved devices and encryption keys. Do not share invitations or credentials to evade access restrictions. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized account access. You remain responsible for use you authorize and for safeguarding local history and backups.
Acceptable use
Do not use Velisona for unlawful activity, fraud, harassment, threats, child exploitation, malware, spam or infringement of another person’s rights. Do not attempt unauthorized access, bypass account blocks, overload the service or abuse its file storage. Obtain any consent required by law before recording or sharing a conversation. You may report abuse to the support address and block another account in the app.
Your content and privacy
You retain your rights to content you share and are responsible for having permission to send it. You authorize only the processing needed to deliver and temporarily store your encrypted content and operate the service as described in the Privacy Policy. This does not grant a right to read your encrypted conversations or use them for advertising. Recipients may save or copy content they receive. Removing or unsending content cannot guarantee removal of independently saved copies.
Availability, files and emergencies
Audio and video quality depend on devices, permissions, networks and operating-system restrictions. Velisona is not an emergency calling service and must not be relied on to reach emergency services. Alpha software can contain bugs, disconnect, lose data or become unavailable. Keep independent copies of important information. Server-hosted encrypted attachments expire no later than 7 days after their message; the service is not permanent file storage.
Suspension and ending use
We may restrict or suspend accounts to enforce these terms, protect users, investigate abuse or comply with law. We may end or change the alpha. You may stop using Velisona at any time and request deletion using the Account deletion page. We will give notice of material service changes or suspension where practical and lawful, except where immediate action is needed for security or abuse.
Disclaimers and responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the alpha is provided “as is” and “as available”, without a promise of uninterrupted operation, suitability for a particular purpose or preservation of data. To the extent the law permits, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses caused by alpha defects, network outages or events outside our reasonable control. These terms do not exclude liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for intentional misconduct where applicable.
Updates and contact
We may revise these terms as the service develops. The current version and effective date will be published here; material changes will be communicated through the service or email when appropriate.
